UEFA U17 elite round thanks to IFCS to be held in Styria

Austrian team plays qualifiers for European Under-17 Championship

From March 23rd to March 28th 2017 the Austrian Under-17 national team will fight in the UEFA elite round for a ticket to the European Championship. The Austrian delegation, coached by Hermann Stadler, has to play the strong teams from Sweden, France and the Ukraine in the last stage of the European Championship qualifiers.

The hosting clubs have already in the past shown that they can organise football games perfectly. One of the reasons why the Austrian Football Association chose to cooperate again with IFCS and pick Styria as venue. „A special thank you belongs to our partners with whom we have a good and professional relation for many years now. With their trust in IFCS they contribute to the success of many camps and test matches“, says IFCS CEO Kian Walizadeh.

State representative of Styria Christian Buchmann is also delightes that the qualifiers are being held in Styria again. „Last year the Under-19 team has already had a successful European Championship qualification here in Styria. I will keep my fingers crossed that this year the Under-17 team will suceed as well.“

The qualifiers will be held in Rohrbach/ Lafnitz, Bad Waltersdorf and Gleisdorf.
