Friendly matches of Austria U21

Austria to play against Finland and Croatia (MediaInfo Nr. 06)

With their head coach Werner Gregoritsch Austria´s U21 team are at the start for the qualification for the U21 European Championship in Italy and San Marino in 2019. In the first match of Group 7 Austria U21 beat Gibraltar U21 3-0. Austria´s U21 team is to prepare for the next challenges in the European Championship qualifiers against the U21s of Serbia, Macedonia and Russia in two friendly matches at the beginning of September.
In association with ÖFB, the Austrian Football Federation, IFCS is to organize two matches in eastern Styria. On September 1st Austria will take on Finland in Hartberg. In the second match Austria U21 will be playing against Croatia U21 in Gleisdorf on September 4th. Head coach Werner Gregoritsch has not yet announced the squad but we can bet on the nominations of Bundesliga players such as Dario Maresic from SK Sturm Graz and also expatriate players like Marco Friedl.
